Holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Swenda started her career early by joining the Corporate Operations Team at a California-based healthcare company, Vista Healthcare. Prior to joining the BridgePoint team, Swenda led Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park, a 91-bed long-term acute care hospital in Southern California, as the Chief Executive Officer of the facility. She played an instrumental role in achieving operational efficiencies and meeting revenue goals for the hospital, as well as dramatically improving patient service.

Swenda has led the charge in developing and executing an operational blueprint for the turnaround success of BridgePoint Healthcare’s acquisitions. With over 10 years of experience in managing hospital operations, she has been responsible for driving the strategic execution of the BridgePoint vision.

Swenda resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and daughter.
