Tara Day

Tara Day is the Director of Business Development at Vista Specialty Hospital. She is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in the post-acute care setting. A graduate of Ouachita Christian High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a BA in Speech Communication, Tara began her career in hospice, where she developed a passion for patient care and education. In 2004, she transitioned to Long Term Acute Care and has since built a reputation for integrity, excellence, and leadership.

Tara leads an award-winning liaison team with over 80 years of combined healthcare experience, working to make Vista’s quality of care known across North Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Arkansas. She ensures patients, physicians, and care teams trust and rely on Vista for exceptional care.

Tara is a proud mother of four and is passionate about providing the care her community and patients deserve. She collaborates with an extraordinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, aides, and leaders who treat every patient like family.
